Banana:
Export shipments of commercial volumes of Somalia banana are now more realistic than ever. SAC is in possession of large farmland plantations with some access to water-wells for sustainable irrigation systems. SAC is focusing to supply sufficient amounts of quality bananas to regional and immediate markets; Galmudug, Puntland and Somaliland. We have a Principal Agreement with a potential local company that is projecting of availing reefer containers for the local shipments in the near future is an encouraging initiative.
Sesame seed Production:
Sesame seed is one of the oldest seeds known to mankind. Somalia is among the major producers and potential areas include; South-West, HirShabelle and Jubbaland. Sesame seed is a popular crop cultivated in most areas of Somalia. The semi-desert warm weather of Somalia is an ideal climate for sesame seed production and a very helpful for future project growth and expansion.
Corn / Maize Production: :
SAC aims to expand and modernize commercial volume production of maize in Somalia. The demands of the maize as human consumption and animal feed is very high in Somalia and beyond. Commercial benefits as well as food security from sustainable farming are what is driving SAC.
